“El perfum de l’espiritualitat islàmica mai ha estat separat de la vida dels que caminen per la sendera o tariqah, que són justament aquells que realitzen l’estat suprem de la perfecció espiritual, objectiu de l’home i propòsit final de la seva existència.” Seyyed Hossein Nasr
Rumi encouraged samā, listening to music and turning or doing the sacred dance. In the Mevlevi tradition, samā represents a mystical journey of spiritual ascent through mind and love to the Perfect One.
“Seek a pearl, brother, within a shell
and seek skill form among the men of words.”
Rumi
“What was and what is
and that which shall never be.
You who know Jalaleddin,
you the One in all
say Whom I am
say I am you.”
L’EFUSIÓ MÉS SAGRADA
(Glossa de Jalal ed-din Rumi)
“En un principi no fórem
de l’ésser sinó remotes
possibilitats
disposades a ser
– ans que seguir
no essent res.
Imploràrem
que Ta Determinació
ens concebera,
que el Teu Do
ens moguera
i que, acte seguit,
se’ns convidara a existir.”

Rumi’s major work is the Maṭnawīye Ma’nawī (Spiritual Couplets) a six-volume poem. It is considered by many Sufis to be one of the greatest works of mystical poetry. It contains approximately 27000 lines of Persian poetry.
“¡Oh tu, amor meu, no pensis tant
en el vers i en les rimes!
Tu ets la meva rima.
Seu tranquil al meu davant
que, per a mi, tu ets la rima essencial.”
Rumi
